World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day, takes place every year on October 10th.

On World Mental Health Day, it’s important to remember the World Health Organization‘s warning that “many older adults are at risk of developing mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety”. This is often due to preventable experiences such as loneliness and isolation. By simply checking in on a loved one or a neighbour today, you could make their week. Make a habit of it, and you’ll make their year.
