Meet Krisztina Lodi, Dovida Galway’s Clinical Nurse Manager who is shortlisted in the Nurse of the Year category at the 2025 Home and Community Care Ireland (HCCI) Home Care Awards, taking place on Thursday September 11th in Athlone.

Who is Krisztina?

Krisztina joined Dovida Galway in September 2021, bringing with her a wealth of experience from nursing homes, residential care settings and from her many years in the USA, where she worked as a clinical nursing manager. Over this time, she developed her clinical expertise and deep commitment to patient care. Outside of work, Krisztina spends her time with her family exploring the ‘beautiful countryside of Ireland’.

Since she joined the team at Dovida Galway, Krisztina has played a key role in maintaining high standards for clients and caregivers, supporting all with her trademark traits of compassion and professionalism.

Extremely patient and solutions orientated, Kristina ensures that the individual receiving care is at the centre of every decision.
