Our partners in the community
We support and advocate for great organisations who make a difference in people’s lives.
Supporting, empowering and uplifting people all across Ireland
At Dovida, we have a long and proud track record of supporting wonderful organisations in communities across Ireland.
Some are charity organisations, some are representative bodies, while others offer specialised training opportunities or carry out valuable research.
Whatever their specialisation, each shares our own commitment to supporting, empowering and uplifting people who need care.

Home & Community Care Ireland
Home & Community Care Ireland (HCCI) is the voice for home and community care providers across Ireland.
Led by CEO Joseph Musgrave, HCCI’s mission is to “drive policies that sustain the sector, guaranteeing the highest standards of care for people — whether services are publicly funded or privately sourced — and uphold the well-being of our workforce”.
Dovida is a founding member of HCCI and has worked with the organisation to help introduce the home care tax relief scheme, and supported its lobbying activities.

Engaging Dementia is a charity organisation which provides “training and resources for those who care for people living with dementia in residential care, day centres, hospitals or the family home”.
Led by CEO Kim Tully, the organisation is involved in “a range of community-based initiatives focused on supporting communication and engagement for people living with dementia”.
Each year, it hosts the Engaging Dementia International Conference, which brings together academic and practice experts, dementia advocacy groups, people living with dementia and support organisations from home and abroad.

With 21 branches across Ireland and a National Office in Dublin, Parkinson’s Ireland provides a range of local services to support people living with Parkinson’s.
It operates a nursing and dietician service, which helps to address “a major shortage of Parkinson’s nurse specialists and other allied health professionals in Ireland”, keeps people living with Parkinson’s well, and helps to reduce hospitalisations.
Each year the Parkinson’s Ireland organises its Walk in the Park for Parkinsons, a major fundraising activity which helps it to continue providing its much-needed services and activities.
Dovida Ireland is proud to support this vital organisation by sponsoring its flagship fundraising event each year.

Understand Together
Understand Together is a public support, awareness and information campaign led by the HSE, working with the Alzheimer Society of Ireland (ASI) and Genio campaign.
Community Champions are at the heart of this movement.
They are people or organisations who want to be more aware of dementia and understand how they can help.
They bring people in communities together, talk about dementia and inspire others to take actions to improve the lives of people with dementia and their families.
Dovida is proud to support this movement as a Community Champion.
