Let’s start with support. As a Dovida Caregiver, you’ll get unrivalled support from your local office team. Many of our local staff worked as a Caregiver before joining the office team – they’ve experienced the same situations and the smiles you’ll see in the job, and they’ll support and recognise the work you do. 

Our matching system places you with a client who shares your interests, to help build a great client-Caregiver relationship from day one. Experienced schedulers use state-of-the-art programmes to make sure you know exactly where your need to go, and when. Care Managers work closely with clients and families, so you know exactly the type of care your client will need when you get there.

All our offices operate a 24-hour emergency helpline, so that you are never alone in the job.

New opportunities

Dovida has expanded its range of home care service offerings beyond the ‘traditional’ sphere of caring for ageing adults. Today we support people of all ages, some of whom have more complex care requirements or need a different kind of support to live safe and well at home.

We serve clients living with a disability, empowering them to maintain independent lives at home, within their community and among family and friends. Our Caregivers have the opportunity to develop specialist skills and knowledge through our in-house Dovida Academy, as well as through external training providers. Training is provided free, or is heavily subsidised by the company. 

There are opportunities to train in specialist care fields such as Parkinson’s Disease, Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Catheter Care, Autism Awareness, and our City & Guilds-accredited Dementia Awareness programme, to mention just some. These ensure our Caregivers can build on their experience and branch out into fields of home care and support that other companies don’t provide.
