Romina Veseli, part of our dedicated Live-in caregiver team shared how her upbringing has shaped her both personally and professionally.

My name is Romina Veseli, and I have been working for Dovida as a Live-in caregiver for a year now.

Born in Albania and raised in Greece, I was brought up with the values of respect, dignity, and hospitality. In my culture, caring for others is not just a responsibility but a way of showing love. We treat everyone – family, neighbour, or friend with kindness and warmth.

As a caregiver with a background in physiotherapy, I try to contribute effectively to each person’s well-being by encouraging movement and independence.

I believe that hospitality is how we connect and make people feel valued. Growing up between two cultures taught me empathy and adaptability, which I bring into my role every day. Like in my culture, true care means making others feel valued and respected.
