Meet Debbie Dickinson, one of the shortlistees in the Unsung Hero of the Year category at the 2025 Home and Community Care Ireland (HCCI) Home Care Awards, taking place on Thursday September 11th in Athlone.

Who is Debbie?

Debbie started in the Dovida Fairview office in 2017 as an Office Administrator. Debbie had a lengthy background in customer service, sales and office management and brought all of that experience with her.

Debbie ensures things run smoothly behind the scenes. She connects teams, anticipates needs and creates an environment where people feel supported.

In every successful organisation there are people who work quietly in the background, and without them everything would fall apart – Debbie is one of those people. She wears many hats and to give her one title doesn’t begin to capture her value. She shows up, consistently, quietly and powerfully.

In a role that requires both heart and hustle, Debbie delivers both in abundance.
