What is Hiring Week?

During Caregiver Hiring Week Dovida offices across Ireland open their doors and get out and about in the community to meet with people who are interested in starting a career in home care. Local office teams organise a variety of events designed to present both the benefits and value of working in care, while at the same time, helping them to get started with on-the-spot interviews. So, join us from September 1st-5th.

Hiring Week in Munster

The week kicks off on Monday morning with an open day and on-the-spot interviews in Dovida Waterford‘s office (10:00-14:00), and Dovida Tipperary’s hiring stand in Roscrea Town Centre (10:30-15:30). On Monday afternoon, the team at Dovida Cork South will open their doors and welcome people in for an open day and on the spot interviews (14:00-16:30).

Another three events take place on Tuesday. In Cork, teams will be in two city locations: The Maldron Hotel (10:30-14:00) and George’s Quay at an INTREO employment event in Abbey Court House (11:00-13:00). Dovida Tipperary will be at the Showgrounds shopping centre in Clonmel.

Cork and Clare is where the action is on Wednesday. If you’re in Ennis, keep an eye out for posters around the local community and trade a copy in for a free coffee at Dovida Clare’s information morning at the Peppermill restaurant at Quinn Road Business Park (10:00-14:00). In Cork, come and meet Dovida North Cork at a hiring stand in the Wilton Shopping Centre, Sarsfield Road (10:00-16:00).

Another two open days take place on Thursday, along with a hiring stand in Waterford. Dovida Limerick’s open day and on the spot interviews takes place at its office in Ballysimon (10:00-14:00, whereas Dovida Tipperary’s takes place in their office on Liberty Square, Thurles (10:30-15:30). Dovida Waterford will be in Dungarvan Shopping Centre (10:00-14:00). Limerick people, keep an eye out for posters in your community and trade a copy (physical or digital) for a mini goodie bag at the open day.

On Friday, and rounding up Hiring Week in Munster, our Cork team will be attending an INTREO employment event in the Talbot Hotel, Midleton (11:00-13:00). In Waterford, the recruitment team there will be in the City Square Shopping Centre, Waterford City.
